El Privilegio De Tena

The Hotel

On the way to Panticosa and Formigal, in the Pyrenees, one arrives to the Tena valley, a capricious landscape in which The Tena Priviledge shines with its own light, a witness of its´ times. The time in which it was an Abbey, during the XV th century, the times when it was a stately home built on the walls of the first building-XVII to XX-, when it turned into Hotel. And of the present time, which pays honor to its history in the surroundings- stone, wood and slate – and modern times in the form of a Spa with a view, gorgeous rooms and technology, it is easy to agree that in the Tena Priviledge is what the French call a “fleuron”, a reference, a favourite idea, a hotel to return to.
In this temple of good living there is a lot of family management.  We feel the quality atmosphere in which we move from the moment we arrive in The Priviledge. Anabel and Juan Ignacio are not omnipresent, that is the way it is mastered. The impression is discreet and we know that our stay in this house of Tramacastilla de Tena will be to remember. And to return.
