The Hotel

Something of Proust and his Madeleine lives in Artesa, because the building which welcomes us in this hotel with spa used to be a bakery since the XIXth century within a sturdy stone house. The rooms belong to our time, with modern decoration evoking sowing, harvesting and baking. From time to time our bodies plead a return to our origins, or at least to our recollections, aromas and environments. As to Proust these make us feel momentarily in a comfort zone.

Santo Tomé is a little village on the Somosierra peaks beside La Pinilla ski resort. It seems impossible that in this landscape we are only a short hour away from Madrid.

The six rooms with themed decoration depict elements used for baking. The complement to this is a circuit in the spa which offers sauna and Authors beauty and health Treatments, including massages. A perfect plan after a day hiking or skying.

Breakfast is served in the rooms making us feel at home. A home without children as this relaxing and exclusive environment is especially adequate for couples or to go alone, or to go with young people who appreciate the environments calm. In Artesa there is an apartment for four.
